A very handy file comparison tool
When I burn a CD or perform a large file copy, I like to check to see if the copy is a perfect replica of the original. That's why I created MultiComp. I've been using it for many years and thought it about time I shared this useful tool with everyone.
MultiComp will compare all the files in one location with all the files in another, automatically peering into sub-folders and comparing files byte-by-byte to make sure there are no differences.
Multicomp is simple and it is fast. It is particularly good at checking a data CD or DVD. I've avoided losing important data on more than a few occasions because of this tool.
Multicomp should run on all versions of Windows from Windows 95 and up (although I only test it on Windows XP).
Multicomp is very easy to use. There is almost no need to read the simple instruction manual.
